Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Programs Coordinator to oversee the delivery of youth mentoring, mental health, and relationship programs in Bathurst.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar role, a tertiary qualification in social work or youth mentoring, and strong organisational and communication skills. A valid driver's licence and current paid NSW Working with Children Check are also required.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the growth and development of young people in the community. As a Programs Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and administering program activities, reporting on outcomes, and recruiting schools, participants, and mentors.

  • Program delivery of BYM mentoring, mental health, and Respectful Relationship programs in Bathurst
  • Coordination with participating schools and reporting on program outcomes
  • Organisation of end-of-program celebrations and activities
  • Recruitment of schools, participants, and mentors, marketing materials, safeguarding, equipment, and expense management
  • Ongoing review and updating of programs throughout the year
  • Supporting other team members within the organisation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Tertiary qualification in social work, youth mentoring, or relevant area
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Proven communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to safeguarding and child safety protocols
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
