About the Children and Youth Ministry Role

We are a thriving Anglican community in central NSW, 3 hours from Sydney. Our mission is to see people transformed through Jesus, demonstrating love for God and one another.

As we continue to grow, we seek a full-time Children's and Youth Minister to join our staff team. This role focuses on making and growing young disciples of Jesus through prayerful Bible teaching.

  • Loves Jesus, the Bible, and the Church.
  • Is committed to prayerfully teaching the Bible to children as God's primary means of growing them as faithful disciples.
  • Excited to evangelise and disciple children, youth, and their families.
  • Has experience in and passion for children's and youth ministry.
  • Has theological training in a Reformed Evangelical tradition.
  • Can lead existing ministries and develop new opportunities.
  • Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills.
  • Servant heart, teachable, and willing to learn.
Main Responsibilities
  • Oversight of Sunday Kids' Group, Youth, and Crèche.
  • Oversight of midweek Playgroup, Kids' Club, and Youth.
  • Engage with local schools, including involvement in SRE.
  • Evangelism to children and youth (inc. Holiday Club, Christmas).
  • Build, train, and coordinate volunteer leaders.
  • Ensure Safe Ministry adherence and compliance with Child Safe Standards for volunteer children and youth ministry leaders.
  • Contribute to the wider ministry and mission of Holy Trinity.

We offer a supportive staff team, flexible working conditions, ongoing ministry training, and mentoring. A stipend and associated benefits will be provided according to the Anglican Diocese of Bathurst remuneration guidelines.
