Datacom, a leading provider of IT services, seeks an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to join their team.

About The Role

This is an onsite role where you will be responsible for delivering high-quality desktop support services to a key customer.

  • Providing exceptional technical support in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Assisting new users with their IT hardware collection and setup, ensuring seamless integration into the existing infrastructure
  • Ensuring all equipment, including laptops and mobile phones, are up-to-date and deployment-ready prior to release to customers
  • Recording all customer interactions in the designated IT service management tool
  • Maintaining open communication with customers regarding their tickets and progress
  • Utilizing industry-leading tools and processes to deliver services that meet or exceed service level agreements
  • Proactively managing and maintaining customer infrastructure as directed by senior staff
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and driving initiatives to enhance service delivery
  • Fostering a culture of excellence through adherence to best practices and recognized ITIL methodologies

What You'll Bring

Superior customer experience skills, with a focus on end-user services

The ability to prioritize tasks effectively, ensuring achievement of all service level agreements

Detailed knowledge of desktop PCs, laptops, printers, media equipment, audio-visual devices, and mobility solutions

You will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to articulate technical information to diverse audiences.
