We are seeking a seasoned IT professional to fill the role of Desktop Support Specialist. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description:

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing advanced Level 2 ICT support to staff members across multiple sites. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, conducting on-site visits, and ensuring the accurate record-keeping of the ICT asset register.

Additionally, the Desktop Support Specialist will collaborate with the team to manage the provisioning and maintenance of ICT equipment, working closely with Level 3 teams to coordinate repairs, warranty services, and system upgrades.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in providing Level 2 ICT support with a focus on desktop hardware and software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ICT systems, hardware, and software, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert technical assistance to staff members via phone, email, or in-person visits.
  • Collaborate with the Desktop Support Team to ensure seamless ICT operations and maintain accurate records.
