The University of Melbourne is seeking a visionary and strategic leader to serve as the Head of the Melbourne Dental School. As a key member of the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, the successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping the future of oral health education and research.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership to the Melbourne Dental School, aligning its activities with the University's Advancing Health and Advancing Melbourne 2030 agenda.
- Foster a values-based culture of innovation, inclusivity, and creativity, driving excellence in teaching and research outcomes.
- Collaborate with academics and professionals locally and globally to achieve the school's goals and objectives.
- Hold a professorial appointment within the school and report to the Dean.
The Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences is a diverse and renowned faculty, recognized for its research excellence, teaching, training, and policy leadership across the breadth of medical, biomedical, and health science fields.
