Field Service Technician Job Description

Our organization requires a skilled Field Service Technician to maintain and service automated packaging and processing equipment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, electrical troubleshooting skills, and experience in the food industry with packaging and processing equipment.

  • Maintain and repair equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Install new machinery and assist with commissioning to meet customer requirements.
  • Conduct machine audits to identify potential issues.
  • Execute modifications and upgrades of existing machines to improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform service work as specified in existing service contracts.
  • Install machinery and assist with commissioning of new machines to customer specifications.
  • Conduct machine audits to identify potential issues.
  • Carry out maintenance and repairs.
  • Execute modifications and upgrades of existing machines.

Requirements:

  • Electrician with mechanical aptitude &/or mechanical trade qualification with restricted electrical license.
  • Experience in electrical troubleshooting skills (Low voltage 24vdc).
  • Experience in the food industry with packaging and processing equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with methodical approach to solving technical issues.
