Electronics Specialist - Device Repair Expert

We're seeking a skilled electronics specialist to join our team at Brisbane, QLD. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Troubleshooting and repairing various electronic systems or instruments, identifying faults, ordering parts if needed, and replacing or repairing components;
- Assembling circuit boards, motor components, or other system structures;
- Following wiring diagrams, drawings, and schematics to ensure correct installations;
- Creating prototypes, identifying potential issues, and calibrating equipment as needed;
- Upgrading software and running tests on electronic systems, maintaining detailed records of validity tests and upgrades performed;
- Performing routine preventive maintenance on electronic equipment to avoid issues and downtime;
- Keeping logs of maintenance tasks, dates, and schedules for future reference;
- Updating manuals for electronic equipment and maintaining parts inventory reports.

The ideal candidate will have:

- A Certificate III or higher, or at least three years of solid work experience in repairing electronic devices, motherboards, phones, and accessories;
- Skills in repairing latest mobile phones and tablet models;
- High-quality repair standards;
- Soldering and schematics expertise;
- Computer repair experience would be beneficial;
- Comfort working independently.
