Senior Culinary Leader

This is an exceptional opportunity to take on a senior role in our culinary team. As a Senior Culinary Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of high-quality food and ensuring that all culinary operations meet our exacting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Oversee daily culinary operations, including menu preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Lead and motivate a team of chefs and kitchen staff to achieve excellent results and foster a positive work environment.
  • Food Safety and Quality Control: Ensure that all food safety plans are implemented and maintained, and that high standards of food quality and presentation are consistently met.
  • Menu Development and Cost Control: Collaborate with the Head Chef and General Manager on menu development, addressing guest feedback, and controlling food costs and inventory levels.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Qualifications: Diploma in Professional Cookery Level 5 or equivalent, Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (desired).
  • Experience and Skills: Minimum of 3 years of experience in monitoring food and labor costs, menu development, and costing; proven background in ordering and inventory procedures including cost controls and handling invoices; proficiency in menu development and stock management; and competence in using business technology such as stock control systems, spreadsheets, and accounting systems.
