Job Description

You will be embedded in projects of different sizes and become part of a team that's shaping the landscape across NSW.

This role offers the opportunity to gain a wealth of expertise and a diverse range of skills, providing insight and knowledge without losing sight of your work-life balance or wellbeing.

In this position, you'll work as part of the Northern Bridges team developing and delivering bridge maintenance projects across Northeastern NSW.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing cost estimates
  • Procuring and overseeing service providers, suppliers, and consultants
  • Monitoring and reviewing ongoing work programs
  • Traveling across the region, inspecting current works and maintaining high levels of WH&S, environmental management, and quality on projects

Required Skills and Qualifications

A four-year civil engineering degree and valid Australian motor vehicle driver license are required. Experience in bridge maintenance and construction, as well as an understanding of Environmental Assessments, is desirable. Comfortable collaboration and seeking advice to resolve issues and discuss projects with direct controlled workforce are essential.

A natural multitasker able to prioritize workloads, manage risk, and deliver project outcomes is ideal. Previous experience in preparing estimates, job programs, project delivery briefs, WH&S management plans, quality, environmental, and traffic management plans will contribute to success in this role.
