As a Project Engineer, you will be an integral part of developing and delivering infrastructure projects across NSW.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with the Northern Bridges team to develop bridge maintenance projects in Northeastern NSW.
  • Establish a robust pipeline of work for direct control bridge crews and schedule contractor works effectively.
  • Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle, from development to delivery completion and handover.
  • Manage cost estimates, procure service providers, suppliers, and consultants, and review ongoing work programs regularly.

This is a full-time opportunity that requires relocation. You will need to travel across the region, inspecting current works and maintaining high levels of WH&S, environmental management, and quality on projects.

About You
  • Effectively problem-solve and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, to deliver timely outcomes on task requirements.
  • Be a skilled multitasker, prioritizing workloads, managing risk, and delivering project outcomes successfully.
  • Have a passion for bridge maintenance and construction, with experience and understanding of Environmental Assessments.
  • Be comfortable with collaboration, seeking advice to resolve issues, and discussing projects with direct controlled workforce.
  • Hold a four-year civil engineering degree and a valid Australian motor vehicle driver license, willing to travel and work outside normal working hours.
