About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Sydney, NSW. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing detailed reviews and analyses of cost plans for large and complex infrastructure projects. This will include preparing cost plans, converting them to package budgets and work breakdown structures, and completing detailed cost reporting forms.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of cost management principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills. They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be committed to delivering high-quality results in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed reviews and analyses of cost plans for large and complex infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare cost plans in a format that permits ease of optioneering.
  • Convert cost plans to package budgets and work breakdown structures.
  • Complete detailed cost reporting forms.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of project costs and progress.
About You
  • A construction management, building, engineering degree or equivalent, coupled with extensive post-graduate experience in contract administration within the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of cost management principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality results in a timely and efficient manner.
