Senior Building Services Officer


About the Role:

You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic team, contributing to the provision of excellent facilities management services across multiple office locations.

Your key responsibilities will include assisting the Building Services Team Leader with the management of day-to-day work activities, training and development of a team of Building Services staff, and providing support for facilities requests including occasional interstate travel.

This is a permanent, full-time position requiring full-time office attendance five days per week due to the nature of the role.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support with facilities requests and ensure they are actioned appropriately and within service timeframes.
  • Liaise with contractors and vendors to resolve facilities issues and maintain office standards.
  • Oversee office systems such as mail distribution, security pass control and stationery.
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships, expectations, and allocation of resources to ensure effective outcomes.
About You:

To be successful in this role you will require:

  • 2+ years hands-on experience in an office supervisor or facilities role.
  • Experience in project management and co-ordination of small works, repairs and maintenance is desirable.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office Suite products, including an understanding of AI and automation.
  • Fantastic communication & relationship management skills.
  • Excellent organisational ability, including effective time management.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, demonstrating excellent priority management.
