Youth Justice Programme Manager

The Staying on Track (SoT) program aims to improve community safety and reduce reoffending by bridging the transition to the community when young people are released from detention. This enables youth offenders to turn their lives away from crime.
Job Role and ResponsibilitiesThe role involves leading a team of Mentors and Practitioners to deliver best-practice, client-focused services. Key responsibilities include managing team operations, including supervision, staff development, recruitment, induction, and rostering. The position also requires overseeing referrals from Youth Justice and allocating tasks to appropriate staff.
Key Qualifications and Requirements- A degree in Social Work, Human Services, Behavioural Science, Psychology, or similar field.
- A current Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
- A current National Police Check.
- A Queensland Driver Licence.
- The ability to travel within the service region and work flexible hours, including on-call support.
This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of youth justice programs that support young people aged 10-17 who display offending behaviours.
