Position Overview

The Claims Policy & Communications Consultant plays a crucial role in the creation, upkeep, and execution of top-tier materials necessary for effective claims management and resolution, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Continuous Delivery and Claims Effectiveness teams to facilitate the transformation of correspondence.
  • Oversee the management of letter and form inventories.
  • Administer the due diligence process related to claims materials.
  • Ensure compliance with essential regulatory requirements and the Life Insurance Code of Practice as collateral is transitioned to a digital format.
  • Conduct change briefing sessions as necessary.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to provide optimal service to clients.
  • Stay informed about internal and external changes to anticipate future business impacts.
  • Manage the Policy & Communications inbox efficiently.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in Life Insurance Claims or a related field with experience in drafting correspondence, guidelines, or procedures.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and handle multiple deadlines professionally.
  • Strong self-management skills, including effective planning, prioritization, and time management.
  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A proactive attitude towards work and a willingness to assist with various tasks.
  • Capability to understand and apply relevant business unit and enterprise policies and procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
