Claims Specialist

Haylo People is seeking a skilled Claims Specialist to join a leading insurance broking organisation based in NSW. As a Claims Specialist, you will play a vital part in delivering high standards of client support while managing and settling claims efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Handle end-to-end management of commercial and corporate claims, ensuring timely and efficient resolutions.
- Review and analyse claims information across property, liability, and motor sectors, advocating for clients with insurers and repairers.
- Communicate regularly with clients to keep them informed of claim progress.
- Maintain accurate claims records and issue weekly reports to Account Managers.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards.
- Collaborate with team members to support the overall objectives of the organisation.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in claims management from either an insurer or broker, specifically in handling commercial claims.
- Strong knowledge of insurance products and claims processes, particularly in property, liability, and motor.
- Excellent negotiation and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret legislation and policies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with current technology and systems.
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to build relationships with clients and team members.
