
Wine Category Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Wine Category Strategist to collaborate with key stakeholders and shape the wine category in Australia.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive annual volume, net sales, and gross profit targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with buying and category teams to align on promotions, activations, and innovation
- Lead category reviews, new product development presentations, and investment analysis to identify growth opportunities
- Provide accurate forecasting, accrual management, and performance reporting to inform business decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to elevate both the wine category and business outcomes
- Proven experience as a high-performing National Account Manager in FMCG, liquor, or wine with a strong understanding of the Australian market
- Advanced commercial acumen and strategic thinking skills
- Experience managing complex customer relationships and delivering sustained growth
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data tools (e.g. IRI, Quantium)
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, or a related field
