Leadership Role in Rehabilitation Care

As a seasoned healthcare professional, you will have the opportunity to lead a dedicated team at our rehabilitation centre, where your leadership will directly impact patients' recovery journeys and their return to independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic and operational leadership of the nursing team, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality and person-centred rehabilitation care through effective management of resources, staff development and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Achieving optimal patient outcomes through evidence-based practice, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and effectively managing resources to support patients in regaining independence and transitioning safely back to the community.

Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria:

  • Registration as a Registered Nurse-Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) and Relevant management tertiary qualification OR equivalent work experience, OR a combination of study and work experience; and demonstrated commitment to professional development.
  • Proven ability to lead, support and develop a clinical team within a multidisciplinary environment, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and digital skills, with proficiency in clinical systems, rostering, and documentation to support effective team coordination and patient care.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing change and quality improvement initiatives, with a sound understanding of clinical governance and service development in a rehabilitation setting.
