Job Overview

The role of a Document Controller is pivotal in ensuring the seamless management and maintenance of documents within an organization. This position involves collaborating with various stakeholders to create, update, and maintain policies, procedures, and processes that align with legislative requirements, certification needs, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and business units to develop and implement policies, procedures, and processes that meet regulatory requirements and support business strategy.
  • Oversee the management, maintenance, and improvement of the Business Management System (BMS).
  • Work closely with department managers and other business unit heads to foster compliance and support across the organization.
  • Influence positive outcomes in compliance, good practice standards, risk mitigation, and regulatory adherence.
  • Coordinate training and education on process adherence, procedures, and compliance best practices.
  • Manage record-keeping and version control for Company BMS or registers.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely review follow-ups.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate the ability to comprehend and interpret complex subject matter.
  • Prior experience in document and systems management within the construction industry.
  • Effective communication skills to engage with diverse levels of staff.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Experience working with engineers and project teams to develop technical content support.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
