About the job

We have a permanent opportunity for an influential leader to step into the role of Process Maintenance Coordinator supporting Milling Operating Area, at our Wagerup Refinery. The working roster is Monday to Friday, with added flexibility of one leisure day every four-week period

The purpose of this position is to provide a single point of accountability to the Area Manager for the coordination and optimisation of all equipment and process maintenance scheduling, to maximise production while ensuring all equipment health.

You are a primary contact for decisions related to the alignment of process, civil and equipment maintenance activities within the Operation Area and across the location. Effective communication and coordination between maintenance and operations is key to ensure the area resources and equipment are aligned, to allow the efficient execution of all forms of routine maintenance activities for the area.

The key challenges of the position are:
- To effectively communicate and drive alignment and cooperation through the maintenance and production functions in the area.- Use of our Alcoa processes and work systems to collect the knowledge and work practices, locking in any improvement possible.- Maintaining a proactive, front end loading focus to ensure successful execution

About you

- A high-level understanding of planning processes and support tools, with the ability to mentor others in their use.- An understanding and passion for planning with disciplined execution, along with the power to influence all people in the Operation Area.- Detail mind, who is thorough and systematic.- Focused and structured approach with sophisticated analytical and problem solving skills to improve systems and processes.- Solid experience in an operations role with an understanding of refinery process operations
