Desktop/Network/Firewall/EUC Onsite IT Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT professional to fill an onsite IT specialist role.

This is an on-call, adhoc dispatch position with variable scope per client. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing desktop/network/firewall support, handling technical issues, and applying patches.

  • Responsibilities include firewall replacement experience, handling desktop and network issues, installing and upgrading Operating Systems, and software/hardware break-fix skills.
  • Candidates should possess basic WiFi and network concepts (LAN, WAN, Switch, Router configuration), MS Office installation and administration skills, and business English proficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network engineering, with CCNA or above certification preferred.

The successful candidate will work independently, managing their own schedule and workload, and will be required to console into Cisco routers and use Webex.

Requirements:
  • Fully charged Windows 8 or 10 laptop with admin rights.
  • Cisco Console cable (DB9 Rj45 or USB Rj45) with drivers installed.
  • Software: Putty, TeamViewer, TFTP server.
  • Screwdriver set.
  • Internet data card.
  • Ability to console into Cisco routers and use Webex.

This is a part-time, mid-senior level position, requiring the ability to work flexibly and manage multiple tasks.
