About This Position

The Electronics Equipment Service Technician will be responsible for ensuring maintenance, troubleshooting and rework of complex Systems/boxes at an OEM facility in accordance with a Prime Contract.

Main Responsibilities
  • Independently identify and troubleshoot complex system issues;
  • Maintain IES components to ensure optimal performance;
  • Detailed documentation of conducted work packages is required;
  • Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);
  • Communicate with suppliers for specific IES parts;
  • Support the development of solutions for mechanical/electrical/optical issues;
  • Assist in creating maintenance and support concepts;
  • Advise customers regarding issues and further development opportunities;
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certification IV in Electronics/Mechanics/Aviation;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Electronics/Optics Production environment;
  • Defence Industry or Simulation Industry experience is preferred;
  • Operational knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint is necessary;
