Salary: $76,520 - $80000 plus superannuation

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Electronic Equipment Trades Worker to join our team. The successful

candidate will work a five-day week, maintain a neat and tidy appearance, and possess excellent

people skills. Responsibilities include:

 Diagnose, test, and repair a variety of electronic equipment, including dishwashers,

cooktops, ovens, upright stoves, range hoods, washers, and dryers.

 Inspect and test electrical and electronic equipment, control systems, and instruments to

find faults or performance issues.

 Demonstrate a working knowledge of a wide range of equipment and advise users on the

correct operation to avoid issues.

 Check and test machines, equipment, instruments, and control systems to identify problems.

 Repair, replace, and maintain worn-out parts and wiring in machines, equipment, and

instruments.

 Reassemble, test, and adjust equipment after repairs.

 Advise users on proper equipment usage to prevent issues.

 Install and set up electronic instruments, control systems, and related wiring for homes and

businesses

 Apply electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic principles to set up and

maintain control systems.

 Respond quickly to equipment issues to minimise downtime and keep systems operating

safely and efficiently.

 Review upcoming jobs and ensure all necessary parts are available. You will also manage

daily assigned jobs, assist other technicians when needed, and confidently use a mobile

Requirements:

Education qualifications: Trade Certificate in Electrical Engineering / Certificate III in

Electrotechnology Electrician

Experience: a minimum of 2 years of industry work experience required

Broad knowledge in the repair of most brands and types of appliances, including dishwashers,

cooktops, ovens, upright stoves, range hoods, washers, and dryers.
