The ICT Procurement Team drives procurement processes for software, hardware, and services. This specialist role requires liaison with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality service and meet business requirements within tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialist ICT procurement to meet business needs;
  • Support departmental officials with administrative tasks;
  • Respond to general queries related to ICT procurement;
  • Build and maintain productive working relationships with various stakeholders;
  • Monitor requests to ensure timely service delivery;
  • Undertake ad hoc projects as directed by the department.

Essential Criteria:

  • 3-5 years of experience in an ICT Procurement role;
  • Experience publishing briefs on government platforms;
  • Expertise in drafting work orders using templates;
  • Understanding of Commonwealth's ICT sourcing practices;
  • Demonstrated research and analytical skills;
  • Knowledge of financial systems (e.g., SAP) and processes;
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to facilitate productive working relationships.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience in Financial Reporting;
  • Certificate IV in Government Procurement and Contracting or higher.
