At Sport and Life Training (SALT) we believe in the power of sport to transform lives.
As a not-for-profit health promotion charity, we work with sporting clubs, leagues, and associations to build strong leadership and cultures – creating more connected communities of care and respect.
Our work tackles some of society's most pressing challenges – mental health, substance abuse, discrimination, violence, and social isolation – through a powerful platform: local sport.
Since 2015, we have delivered more than 3,500 interactive education sessions across 20+ sporting codes in Victoria, helping grassroots clubs spark critical conversations and build cultures grounded in courage, care, resilience, and respect.
Now, we are ready to scale.
With ambitious growth plans, we are seeking a motivated and energetic General Manager to take us from our current scale and coverage to something substantially larger.

The role is ideally based in Ringwood with the expectation of some statewide travel to connect with clubs, communities and stakeholders.
Salary range is $130,000–$160,000 (inclusive of superannuation) plus performance-based incentives.
We are seeking a strategic, hands-on leader, with fundraising expertise and a proven ability to lead teams, drive growth, build partnerships, and engage stakeholders - ideally in the not-for-profit sector.
