As a Strategic Business Development Manager with the REO Group, you will play a critical role in driving growth and revenue opportunities across our operations. Reporting to the APAC Commercial Director, you will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for developing and executing strategies that align with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Performance Management: Partner with leadership teams, state managers, operational, and financial stakeholders to drive strategic and P&L performance for national operations.
  • Analytical Decision Support: Develop and maintain advanced analytical capabilities to support strategic and tactical decision-making.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities, develop recommendations, and translate insights into execution plans.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Build and own planning and forecasting frameworks (monthly, quarterly, and annually) across states and business lines.
  • Business Partnership: Gather information, simplify insights, provide accurate business performance updates, and develop recommendations to overcome market and business volatility.
  • Process Enhancement: Continuously evaluate opportunities for enhancement of systems (PowerBI, TM1) and process capabilities to maximize effectiveness.
  • Analytics Requirements: Manage ongoing analytics requirements for the ELT, providing critical decision support for the Head of Finance and Head of Commercial.
  • Scenario Planning and Analysis: Develop predictive models to understand business impacts.
  • Capital and Operational Investments: Develop business cases for investments.
  • Long-Range Planning: Identify expansion opportunities for respective states/business line operations.
  • M&A Commercial Support: Provide commercial support for mergers and acquisitions.

Candidate Profile:

We seek a highly skilled and experienced individual with a deep understanding of commercial business partnering. You will have a passion for solving business problems and creating value-added opportunities. Your industry background should be in heavy industry/engineering or a product-based environment, with a demonstrated track record of leading change and transformation projects.

What We Offer:

This role offers a competitive salary package of $140-$150K + Super + Bonus, along with regular exposure to C-Suite leaders and some travel required.
