Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to fill the role of Youth Justice Conference Coordinator. This position involves preparing for and facilitating conferences that align with restorative justice principles.

About the Role

  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to effectively manage outcomes and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • They will be self-motivated and able to work independently, managing their time and prioritizing tasks efficiently.
  • Possessing strong organizational and administrative skills is essential for this role, including proficiency in computer software and ability to complete tasks promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinating conference logistics, including participant invitations and venue arrangements.
  2. Facilitating engaging and interactive sessions, promoting restorative justice principles and outcomes.
  3. Developing and maintaining effective relationships with community networks and multicultural groups.
  4. Providing administrative support, including data entry, report preparation, and record-keeping.

Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • National Criminal History Check clearance.
  • Personal computer with internet access and mobile phone capability.
  • NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance.
