Child and Adolescent Therapist

Melbourne, Australia is home to a growing demand for mental health professionals who can provide effective therapy services to children and adolescents. Our practice offers a unique opportunity for a dedicated Child and Adolescent Therapist to join our team in a part-time or full-time capacity.

This is an ideal role for a therapist who is passionate about working with children and adolescents, and who values a collaborative and supportive work environment. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and early education teachers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality therapy services to children and adolescents, as well as collaborating with the wider clinical team on case discussions and care planning. You will also be expected to maintain accurate clinical documentation using our digital systems, and to uphold the APS Code of Ethics and professional standards.

We are seeking a Registered Psychologist (AHPRA) with experience working with children, adolescents, and parents/carers. A compassionate, evidence-based, and client-centered approach to therapy is essential, as is a collaborative mindset and willingness to be part of a multidisciplinary team. Assessment experience (autism, ADHD, cognitive, etc.) is desirable but not essential.
