About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality mental health services to children and adolescents. The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to young people experiencing acute mental health distress.
The position involves working with children and adolescents aged 0-17 years and their families, providing evidence-based interventions and trauma-informed care. The ideal candidate will have extensive postgraduate clinical experience in child and adolescent mental health and a strong understanding of psychological practice principles.
About You- You hold current full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia and a four-year degree in psychology or higher.
- You have extensive postgraduate clinical experience providing evidence-based assessment and treatment for children and/or adolescents and their families.
- You can apply advanced reasoning skills and independent professional judgement when dealing with complex clinical situations.
- You have highly developed written and verbal communication skills and competence in the use of information technology systems.
- You can initiate, lead and complete quality improvement initiatives and service enhancement activities with other staff.
