Team Leader - Disability Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Team Leader to oversee the implementation of individualized supports within supported independent living accommodation settings. This role requires leadership and mentoring skills to strengthen knowledge and abilities of Support Workers, ensuring a person-centered culture within the program.

About The Role

This position will focus on the operation of SILs with administrative functions while providing guidance to a team of Disability Support Workers. Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the implementation of individualized supports
  • Leading and mentoring a team of Support Workers
  • Ensuring operational efficiency in SILs

We are looking for an experienced Team Leader who can provide strategic direction and support to our team members.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Previous experience in the health sector (3-5 years)
  • Experience as a Team Leader/Supervisor in supported employment or day programs
  • Cert 4 or higher in a related field
  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience
