About this role

The GCP Data Platform Engineer is responsible for designing and delivering enterprise-grade data platform engineering solutions in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem. This position requires a proactive approach, clear communication, and trust-building skills to solve complex problems for customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Engineering: Design, develop, and optimize end-to-end Extract, Transform, Load/Extract, Load, Transform (ETL/ELT) pipelines using modern, cloud-native GCP tools.
  • Workflow Optimization: Monitor and improve data workflows and performance to ensure data quality, integrity, and platform reliability.
  • Solution Development: Build scalable solutions using cloud-based technologies, applying best practices around data security and compliance.
Requirements
  • Cloud Skills: Proficiency in GCP tools, including BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.
