Cloud Data Solutions Expert

As a Cloud Data Solutions Expert, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing secure and scalable data solutions to support business objectives. You will work on creating robust data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes for our cloud-based data platform, driving the migration of data from on-premises sources to Snowflake with a Fabric frontend, and optimizing performance by monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing data pipelines to ensure data quality, reliability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build robust data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes for our cloud-based data platform to collect, process, and store data from multiple sources.
  • Drive the migration of data from on-premises sources to Snowflake with a Fabric frontend.
  • Optimize performance by monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing data pipelines to ensure data quality, reliability, and performance.
  • Collaborate closely with technology and business stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver high-quality data solutions.
  • Implement and advocate for data engineering best practices in data modeling, data governance, and security.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, data engineering, information technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Cloud Data Solutions Expert with a strong focus on cloud data solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake or Microsoft Fabric is essential.
  • Strong understanding of cloud cost management to ensure that our data solutions remain both scalable and cost-efficient.
