The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team, reporting directly to the Development Director. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing land subdivision projects, with a strong understanding of civil and residential construction.
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing teams to ensure the effective delivery of land subdivision projects. This will involve:
- Developing and managing project outcomes and deliverables within agreed timeframes.
- Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including consultants, subcontractors, approval authorities, clients, and builders.
- Coordinating project design, approvals, and construction activities to ensure effective project delivery.
- Providing civil project management expertise from inception to completion.
- Managing authority submissions and approvals compliance, ensuring projects are delivered safely, to required quality, on time, and within budget.
- Assisting in project scoping, design, cost analysis, and technical support.
- Performing the role of Contract Superintendent or managing an external Contract Superintendent.
- Undertaking site inspections, safety compliance, and quality control.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in land subdivisions.
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Civil) or Construction Management.
- Client-side, contractor, consultancy, or superintendent experience.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Sound conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, demonstrate initiative, and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of civil and residential construction.
- Knowledge of WHS requirements.
