About Our Client:

Our client is a leading provider of marine solutions for the oil and gas, and resources industries.

Job Description:

  • Assist vessel superintendents with operational activities including vessel scheduling, crew selection, and personnel management/logistics.
  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment and rostering of marine crew for upcoming projects.
  • Liaise with vessel masters and crew to ensure contract requirements are met.
  • Coordinate and mobilize crew to, from, and between vessels, including booking drug and alcohol tests, scheduling inductions, arranging flights, and onboarding staff into internal online portals.
  • Manage and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE), including uniforms and personal flotation devices (PFDs).
  • Ensure all crew members have necessary training and compliance.
  • Manage employee details, records, and rosters using HRIS software.
  • Coordinate employee training requirements, including in-house and third-party training.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a crewing coordinator or similar role is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in personnel logistics, travel management, and accommodation bookings within the mining, oil and gas, resources, marine, or related industries is essential.
  • Understanding of marine certifications and EBA's is highly desirable.
  • Proven problem-solving ability, time management skills, exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), and adaptability are required.
