Bureau Veritas Australia – Marine and Offshore division is seeking a Marine Administrator to contribute to the growth of our Marine Classification business.

This dynamic role within Bureau Veritas Australia – Marine and Offshore division, requiring a candidate who can seamlessly manage administrative processes.  As a Marine Administrator, you will support the Marine Classification management and staff to coordinate logistics and key administrative processes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with client and intercompany invoicing
  • Accounts Payable - create purchase orders, new suppliers and customers
  • Maintaining and update job registers on digital platforms
  • Marine Surveyor and Admin support
  • Administrative assistance for the Management team including HSSE Management
  • Provide back up and assist Lead Marine Coordinator
  • Liaising with clients and agents
  • Travel bookings including Travel Security management and coordinating approvals
  • ·Assist with IT procurement
  • Monitoring employee training and records
  • Compiling and maintaining WHS statistics
  • PPE ordering, distribution, register tracking, calibration and database updates
  • Assisting with HSSE safety campaigns and meetings

The Marine Administrator from time to time will be required to undertake logistics and other administrative tasks directly for the Marine Chief Executive.

As the ideal candidate you will bring:

  • A positive can do attitude, initiative and willing to learn.
  • Must hold on commencement a National Police Clearance.
  • Considerable analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes knowledge sharing and teamwork.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
