Job Role Summary

Marine Project Manager Position

We are seeking a Marine Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting with the design, construction and operations of newbuild Transhippers and Pusher Tugs.

The ideal candidate will have experience in marine project management, with a strong understanding of shipyard commissioning processes and marine logistics. They will be responsible for supporting the Marine Team through periodical attendance at shipyards during commissioning trials, and ensuring smooth marine activities and effective logistics onsite.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Marine Team: Provide assistance with projects, including attending shipyards during commissioning trials.
  • Onsite Support: Ensure smooth marine activities and effective logistics onsite at Onslow operations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the GM Marine - Technical, providing engineering support and fostering technical project advancements.
Requirements
  • Class 1 Marine Engineer: Must hold a valid Class 1 Marine Engineer qualification.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in marine project or port operational background, preferably at Senior Management level.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of shipyard commissioning processes and marine logistics, with proficiency in technical documentation and reporting.
  • Education: Marine, Engineering qualifications (desired).
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in a marine or technical context.
  • Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented approach to support engineering requirements and project deliverables.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficient computer literacy skills.
