Senior Energy Storage Operations Manager

Our energy storage technology is critical to our operations.
The Senior Energy Storage Operations Manager will lead a small team in planning, coordinating, and safely executing the operation and maintenance of our cutting-edge energy storage technology.
They will be responsible for ensuring the economic operation, reliability, efficiency, and optimal performance of the system. Additionally, they will develop the operational and maintenance capabilities of our BESS fleet by coaching and developing our Gas and Renewable Plant Technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation.
- Develop and coordinate Operations Readiness plans, support seamless asset integration, and prepare asset-specific operations documentation.
- Lead, train, and coach Plant Technicians in maintaining and operating BESS infrastructure.
- Manage and supervise maintenance activities, including coordination with third-party contractors and leading Permit to Work (PTW) processes.
- Provide leadership and technical advice, lead incident analysis, and promote continuous improvement in processes and systems.
