About this role

We are seeking a Category and Sourcing professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven client engagement skills, with the ability to work across a broad mix of categories.

  • Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience of Category Management and Strategic Sourcing principles, frameworks and practices
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to influence stakeholders and interact with staff at all levels of the business
  • Analytical interpretation and problem solving skills
  • A high level of business acumen
  • Procure to Pay (P2P) knowledge including buying channels and processes
  • Experience in IT procurement would be an advantage

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of categories and vendors, with accountability for end to end sourcing activities and providing leadership and expertise.

  • Working collaboratively with customers and partners to deliver complex sourcing activities
  • Conducting market trend analysis, best practice and considering innovative approaches to strategic sourcing
  • Leading negotiations to establish and review supply arrangements
