**What You'll Do**:
As the Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will form part of our Indirect Global Strategic Sourcing team. You will bring indirect sourcing experience and a passion for sourcing the best products and services, with the best suppliers keeping cost and operating expenses low.

You will plan and execute project-based sourcing strategies across a cluster of indirect spend categories with a primary focus in the IT category.

**Some key responsibilities include**:

- Work in a consultative manner with project team/stakeholders to develop and implement project procurement strategies and manage vendor relationships across multiple categories
- Source suppliers at market through closely managed and often complex RFx processes, including analysing business needs, generating options, determine optimal solutions, conducting supplier selection, contract negotiation and implementation in consultation with a project team and interfacing with Legal/Privacy/Risk and other functions
- Renewal strategies and direct negotiation with existing suppliers across all relevant categories
- Engage and build strong relationships with stakeholders and partner with them, working together to ensure positive outcomes that meet business requirements
- Execute long-form Agreements/Contracts
- Interface with Operational Indirect Buying team to ensure Purchase Orders are initiated, ensuring key contractual flow-downs are documented
- Maximise business value derived from key supplier relationships by building and maintaining a strong working knowledge of the supply market conditions and supplier capabilities for the sourcing categories
- Align with the analytics team lead to ensure understanding key areas of spend, upcoming contracts renewals, necessary RFPs, or key procurements.

**What We're Looking For**:

- Demonstrated experience in procurement/sourcing and/or category management in large complex organisations
- Primary area of specialization will be the IT Category, therefore IT knowledge including SAS/SW, Hardware, Print, Telco, Reseller arrangements, Print, LoCo would be required
- Experience in developing and managing project-specific sourcing across multiple categories
- Ability to complete deal structuring and delivery of commercial options for stakeholders.
- Highly developed commercial negotiation and influencing skills.
- Solid project management skills - ability to lead cross-functional sourcing teams on assigned projects.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain transparent relationships with all stakeholders
- Intuitive commercial problem-solving skills, excellent business acumen
- Tertiary qualifications - Bachelor of Business, Commerce, Finance or Supply Chain or related is desirable
- We work flexibly here at Aristocrat and have a hybrid work model. This role will be based out of our head office in North Ryde with free onsite parking provided, with the flexibility to work in the office and from home._
