Job Description:

Role Summary:

Chandler Macleod is seeking a highly skilled Workers Compensation Case Manager to join our team on a short-term basis. As a Workers Compensation Case Manager, you will be responsible for performing end-to-end case management of claims, undertaking claims investigations, and recommending solutions for resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of workers' compensation claims from intake to closure
  • Conduct thorough investigations into claims, gathering relevant information and evidence
  • Develop and implement effective case plans to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to leaders and employees on workers' compensation matters
  • Maintain and protect self-insurer licenses
  • Perform other duties as directed by management

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working in a similar role within a large organization
  • Excellent time management skills to effectively manage a caseload of workers' compensation claims
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
  • Knowledge of legislation, codes, and best practices related to workers' compensation
