About the Role

Guide Dogs Queensland is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Client Administration Officer to join our Client Services team. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our clients, volunteers, staff, donors, and external organisations to facilitate a high level of care to people who have low vision or blindness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support for client intake and programs, including scheduling appointments, booking rooms, and arranging travel.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for incoming phone calls and manage all external and internal communications related to clients.
  • Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information and contribute to team efforts to achieve operational goals.
  • Support the management of referrals and waitlists and ensure accuracy of client records.
  • Participate in project work, follow processes, and contribute to continuous improvements.
  • Handle client-related finance tasks such as reconciliation, petty cash, and invoice processing.
About You

We are looking for a candidate who has experience in a similar role, within the allied health, disability, aged care, or related field. You will have exceptional customer service, communication skills, and telephone etiquette. You will also have highly developed interpersonal skills and an ability to work effectively in a team environment.
