About the Job

We're looking for a skilled and committed engineer to join our Systems Planning Water team. In this role, you'll apply your expertise in hydraulic modelling, system planning, and infrastructure investigations to inform business decisions, support network performance, and enable sustainable growth.

  • You will proactively contribute to team objectives by completing allocated tasks, participating in decision-making, and fostering a culture of service excellence.
  • You will uphold safety standards for yourself and others, ensuring compliance with WHS procedures and maintaining fitness for work.
  • You will develop and support growth plans for existing and future water infrastructure using network models to meet current and future requirements.
  • You will maintain and develop water distribution hydraulic models, support consultancy briefs, and assist with GIS/IT tool customisation.
  • You will respond to technical queries principally growth related within agreed timelines.
  • You will adopt contemporary technical knowledge and standards to enhance team outputs and ensure quality and efficiency in planning and modelling.

Your success in this role will come from having:

  • A tertiary qualification in Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification with relevant experience.
  • Expertise in hydraulic modelling software, water distribution system planning, GIS, data, and water infrastructure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage stakeholders.
