Job Title: Water Infrastructure Planning Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Water Infrastructure Planning Specialist to join our team. In this key role, you will play a critical part in shaping the future of water management in South Australia.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in hydraulic modelling software, water distribution system planning, GIS, data, and water infrastructure. You will be responsible for developing and supporting growth plans for existing and future water infrastructure using network models to meet current and future requirements.

You will also maintain and develop water distribution hydraulic models, support consultancy briefs, and assist with GIS/IT tool customisation. Additionally, you will respond to technical queries principally growth related within agreed timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively contribute to team objectives by completing allocated tasks, participating in decision-making, and fostering a culture of service excellence.
  • Uphold safety standards for yourself and others, ensuring compliance with WHS procedures and maintaining fitness for work.
Requirements:
  • A tertiary qualification in Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification with relevant experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage stakeholders.
