Lead Engineer Water Infrastructure Planning

We are seeking an experienced Engineer for Water Infrastructure Planning and Development to join our team. This role involves applying hydraulic modeling expertise, system planning, and infrastructure investigation skills to inform business decisions, support network performance, and drive sustainable growth.
Main Responsibilities:- Contribute to Team Success: Complete assigned tasks, participate in decision-making processes, and foster a culture of service excellence.
- Ensure Workplace Safety: Uphold safety standards for yourself and colleagues, ensuring compliance with WHS procedures and maintaining fitness for work.
- Develop Growth Plans: Utilize network models to develop and support growth plans for existing and future water infrastructure, meeting current and future requirements.
- Maintain and Develop Models: Maintain and improve water distribution hydraulic models, support consultancy briefs, and assist with GIS/IT tool customisation.
- Technical Support: Respond to technical queries related to growth within agreed timelines.
- A tertiary qualification in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification with relevant experience.
- Expertise in Hydraulic Modeling: Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software, water distribution system planning, GIS, data, and water infrastructure.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage stakeholders.
