Job Overview

This is a senior leadership role within our property development team. The position requires extensive experience in the acquisition of residential land for development and construction, as well as advanced knowledge of relevant planning frameworks that govern urban development.


Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the acquisition of development sites to support our growing need for new housing in key locations across Australia. This will involve conducting complex feasibility analysis, including financial, risk, and planning assessments, to identify potential residential development and development/redevelopment projects.


In this role, you will work closely with our Director, Strategic Provisioning and Head of Commercial to provide detailed recommendations and implement risk management processes to meet business objectives. You will also demonstrate high-level strategic thinking, project management skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills.


The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in property development, a deep understanding of due diligence and performance criteria of property financing, and the ability to establish and maintain strategic partnerships with stakeholders.


Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. property, urban planning, business)
  • Extensive experience in property development, including acquisition and due diligence
  • Advanced knowledge of relevant planning frameworks and zoning regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
