Senior Manager Acquisitions Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead our land acquisition programs.

  • This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker with expertise in land economics, property valuation, or a related field.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-value land acquisition projects within timeframes and budgetary constraints. They will also be expected to manage litigation associated with large-scale land acquisition programs.

About the Role

This senior leadership position requires exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to provide expert quality advice to senior executives on land acquisitions and future land uses.

The ideal candidate will have sound commercial governance and risk management experience, as well as the ability to develop and maintain an acquisition strategy to plan future acquisition programs.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Deliver high-value land acquisition projects within established timeframes and budgetary constraints.
  2. Manage litigation associated with large-scale land acquisition programs.
  3. Provide expert quality advice to senior executives on land acquisitions and future land uses.
  4. Develop and maintain an acquisition strategy to plan future acquisition programs.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent qualifications in land economics, property valuation, or other relevant property-related discipline.
  • Extensive experience with the application and interpretation of environmental planning and assessment acts and associated legal processes as they apply to land acquisition.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to provide expert quality advice to senior executives.
