Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Operational Risk Manager to join our team at Auto & General. As a key member of our risk function, you will play a critical role in supporting our Chief Risk Officer in ensuring the overall risk management framework is effective and aligned with the organization's objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Chief Risk Officer to develop and implement risk management strategies that mitigate potential threats to the organization.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations for improvement to senior management.
- Develop and maintain risk management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide risk management training and awareness programs to employees across the organization.
- Monitor and report on risk-related metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in risk management, preferably in a financial services or insurance industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management and employees at all levels.
- Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks, regulations, and industry standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
