We are seeking a skilled Field Service Fitter to join our team in Mackay. This is an exciting opportunity to support continued machine population growth in the region.
Key Responsibilities- Provide total customer satisfaction on Hitachi Construction and Mining equipment by offering breakdown, service, and planned maintenance support.
- Work with a talented team who are safety and customer focused, and help each other achieve success.
This role requires someone who is dedicated to quality service and maintenance delivery outcomes, professional, and proactive in finding solutions for improved service levels.

- Creative problem solver: Identifies every opportunity for continuous improvement, navigating complex technical issues and fault-finding diagnostics with minimal rework.
Qualifications include a minimum Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline. Experience and skills required include heavy diesel mechanics and field service fitters with demonstrated OEM equipment experience – excavator specific diagnosis is beneficial.
