Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused tyre technician to join our team at the QCoal Northern Hub in Australia.

You will be responsible for removing and fitting rims and wheel assemblies on heavy earthmoving equipment, as well as refitting and maintaining tyres to the highest safety standards.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Removing and fitting rims and wheel assemblies
  • Refitting and maintaining tyres
  • Performing regular tyre pressure checks, adjustments, and reports

You will work closely with the tyre supervisor and other team members to ensure safety and compliance on site.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a tyre fitter (mining or heavy earthmoving preferred)
  • A current AUR21920 Cert II in Automotive Tyre Servicing or AURKTJ011 & AURKTJ012 qualification
  • A HR driver's licence (preferred but not essential)
