Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage properties on behalf of the government, ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly.
  • Identify areas of risk and opportunity in relation to maintenance and capital works, developing and implementing plans to achieve commercial targets and optimise lifecycle costs.
  • Support the delivery of strategic and asset planning initiatives, analysing regular call-outs, reactive maintenance, and other requests.
  • Be the first point of contact for technical, facilities management, and asset maintenance inquiries.
  • Monitor and direct contractor performance, ensuring contracts are executed to budget and scope.
  • Support compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Assist with audits and inspections.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and consultants.
  • Monitor and report on the delivery of programmed work by subcontracted providers.

This role requires a strong understanding of facilities management, property maintenance, and project management principles. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
