Job Summary

This position is responsible for grinding or punching castings, ensuring accuracy and quality of machine operation. The successful candidate will be working at our facility, reporting directly to the Foundry Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect parts for defects to ensure quality standards are met
  • Measure parts to determine accuracy of machine operation, analyzing data to optimize processes
  • Read job standard operating procedures to plan operational sequences, identifying areas for improvement
  • Load completed work and scrap materials into containers, maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • Check for proper adjustments of grinding guard and tool rests, prioritizing employee safety
